Michelle is Obama's Baby's Moma

Seems like that was the topic of the day on Thursday thanks to Fox News. Will they ever learn? It was the "terrorist fist jab" and now this. I'm sure the race will get dirtier, as it always does. Would those same comments have been made had that been a white candidate, say Billary or McCain? Probably not, especially since the term "baby mama" is more so associated with Blacks in this country. Would there have been outrage had the comments been made about a white candidate? Maybe because it's associated with the Black community.

So what does "baby mama" mean? Well, according to Wikipedia: it's a mother who is not married to her child's father. The Oxford English Dictionary defines baby mama as "the mother of a man's child, who is not his wife or (in most cases) his current or exclusive partner. Baby mama (also baby-mama and baby-mother) is an African-American Vernacular English term used to describe a mother who is not married to her child's father.

According to that definition, the term baby mama in no way describes Mrs. Michelle Obama. Fox news released a statement saying the producer exercised poor judgement - ya think so? I just have one thing to say, Fox News needs to do better.

R.I.P Tim Russert

He died Friday, June 13 at the age of 58 after being stricken at the Washington D.C. bureau.

Russert was the Managing Editor and Moderator of "Meet the Press" and political analyst for "NBC Nightly News" and the "TODAY" program. He anchored "The Tim Russert Show," a weekly interview program on MSNBC. Russert also served as senior vice president and Washington bureau chief of NBC News.
